A weeklong computer science camp for
middle school girls

BitxBit ("Bit by Bit") Camp, a weeklong computer science daycamp, is a free program for middle school girls in the greater New York City area. All prospective participants are encouraged to apply for the program, which challenges girls in various aspects of programming, web design, game making, app development, entrepreneurship, leadership, and algorithmic thinking.

Fill in all of the required information on the application in order to be considered for the program. Parents are encouraged to help with the process!

Receive information via email
Because there are limited spots, those who are selected will receive notice on August 15 of their acceptance into the program, along with additional information.

Get read for BitxBit Camp!
After accepting the deicision, campers will prepare for an exciting week of computer science, robotics, field trips, speakers, projects, presentations, and new friendships!






Eligibility


BitxBit Camp is only accepting middle school students entering grades 6-9 from the greater New York City area. Limited travel assistance may be provided based on students' backgrounds, however, applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of travel. You may click here to register.


Walk-ins are not accepted. For attendee substitutions and other attendee inquiries, please email support@bitxbitcamp.com.


All necessary documents and information with be sent prior to the start of the program to accepted attendees via email.

General Rules and Requirements


  1. All attendees are required to attend all five days of the programs. Absences will not be excused.
  2. Attendees must send in all necessary documents and forms prior to the program, or by Orientation. Parents are permitted to attend Orientation with their children.
  3. Proper ettiquette is expected from each participant. Any disrespectful behavior will lead to the dismissal of the participant for the remainder of the program.
  4. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend the Final Showcase on the last day of the program.
